Found a 120mm baitfish in the stomach of a coral trout ... made a 120mm coral trout shaped lure. I cannot explain the logic.
The Leopardus 120 is a popstick. It pops like a popper and swims like a stickbait. This versatile slow rising floating lure can accomodate various retreives with the change of speed. With short fast pulls this will dive down and pop. When swept at a slower to moderate speed it will swim 0.5-1 meters under surface with a wide wobble/ roll.
To maximize popping stability use a rear hook that is one size bigger, this will result in a more traditional popper action and it will sit at 45 degrees tail down.
To maximize side to side action use a inline single rear hook to reduce drag.
If you intend to sweep at faster speeds use heavier belly hook to maintain stability.
